This was caught this past weekend from a three-acre pond I manage. The owner was fishing for bass with a plastic worm. He caught two other bluegill nearly this big, one on the worm and one on a spinner:
This Gill was just short of 11 inches. The fish was caught in 24 FOW just before fall turn over. Bait of choice was 1/8 once KISS bug scented with power bait. The fish was C & R and should be close to 12 inches next year.
