It's not the snakes or spiders that will kill you @ Reelfoot. It's the buffet @ Boyette's. Every time I eat there I leave so full I think I'm gonna die......Well with all that fried food I'm sure it's a slow death anyway.

I hear yall on the spiders!!Snakes dont bother me at all unless I see them first. Spiders on the other hand, aside from grandaddy longlegs, absolutely scare me to death. I get goosebumps all over when even just LOOK at one. Makes it tough getting hung up in a big treetop w/ spidies all over it!! Usually ends up in a lost jig....lol!!

I believe they are called Wolf Spiders, and yes they are big.
if he is biger then your boat worry about it . if the snake gets in your boat do not panic move out of his way take your paddle place it on his head and mash it or scoop him up in your net throw him over board DONOT TRY TO PICK HIM UP .if you think haVING A COTTON MOUTH IS BAD IN YOUR BOAT TRY HAVING ONE IN A PEROGUE .THAT IS NO FUN AT ALL THIS HAPPENS TO US QUITE OFTEN IN THE SWAMP WHERE WE FISH JUST DONT PANIC .RICH A CAJUN
