Mr. Plucker
The only way to bream fish in my opinion is with a flyrod. And my two favorite bream flies are the bream killer in black and the black gnat.
Gypsi Jig, in black/silver:
Or a 1.5" tube jig in smoke with black and gold flake. Works well around here, especially tipped with a crappie nibble.
Don't worry, catch crappie.
RAPALA F3
ive caught every kinda of fish in the lake i fish except catfish
form fish as big as the bait to 6 lbs bass
this is one of my go to baits
and sliders are are also good
they make a smaller version or the slider to which is better for bluegill
Why don't you ask the two top bluegill guides at reelfoot lake Billy Blakely and Jackie VanCleve. I haven't heard their choice mentioned.
Don't tell me! I'm keen to guess. Hmmm ... a popeye jig?Originally Posted by popeyemaker
