I love my two Leland’s! Thanks for the share
Just a heads up for anyone possibly interested in one of these Leland/ B'n'M TCB rod-reel combo's Midway USA is running these right now for $57.59 and with a $100 order free shipping to boot!
With the free shipping deal on a rod on a $100 order I went ahead and ordered two of these at that pricing.

I had one of the originals as well which I really liked.
I had health issues which eliminated my fishing adventures and about 5 years ago sold off the majority of my fishing stuff along with my boat.
That was a sad time but honestly it was not likely I would ever be able to continue fishing at all much less any time soon!
Fast forward to current times I have finally improved enough health wise to the point I am going to try to do some bank fishing in easier to access spots and see how that goes.
Right before I had to give it up I had jumped down the JDM rabbit hole and had several fairly nice rods and a couple of the Diawa Exist reels bought when they were closing out the old models for the new stuff at a good price.
I am going to avoid the higher dollar JDM stuff this go round but I have purchased a Diawa Legalis 1000 size JDM reel and have a Shimano Sahara 2000 size reel on the way from Japan right now.
I also bought a Major Craft Triple Cross Ajing rod as they are not too bad cost wise and now will have that and a total of 3 of the new TCB rods.
I do also still have a couple of like new Pflueger spinning reels from back when I had to quit fishing so I should be set to see if I can actually pull off being able to go fishing again.
Wish me luck.
V four, I’m confident that you’ll be fishing and enjoying yourself in no time. Patience and perspective, as in keeping it all in perspective. Having recovered a few times in the past, I’ve done this. Glad to hear that the fire to follow your passion is once again lit and needing fuel.
