    Default Presso 6’

I wouldn’t mind pulling the trigger for one of these if I could find one at a reasonable price. Anything priced well is out of stock or the length of the rod isn’t listed. What I’ve found is stating $80+shipping, and they go up from there. I have 6’6” rods that don’t get much use so I don’t believe I need a longer version. I don’t know all of the outlets like some of y’all do. I’m waving the white flag here. Thanks in advance……Tim

only place I found I would order from is Midway USA. $80 + shipping unless you want something else from there to get over the $99 for free shipping.

big country sporting goods claims to have stock but google search says it's a scam site.

Thanks zeke. That’s one I found also. I go to Daiwa site and they state the msrp is 59$. I would hate to lay down $100 for one and see it offered under $70 the next week. That’s what I’m trying to avoid.

Ya know, it's funny that Midway has it in stock. I don't want to get on a topic that some folks aren't interested in, but when it comes to the other products they sell, in time when EVERYONE else is out of stock for election based reason or another, Ole Uncle Larry will have it in stock. I think it's because he ain't afraid to mark up the stuff that is in high demand or sold out everywhere else

I’ve gotcha. I like his gunsmithing videos a lot but I find his stuff on the website a bit higher priced than other places.
And since posting this, I find myself looking at other rods so now I have to decide which one I want to go with.

The Daiwa trout x and the major craft finetail are also up for consideration.

I ordered the trout x the other night when I learned about it in that other post. The delivery window on it is from 4-28 to 7-31 or something like that. It's crazy long.

Which one did you order ?
I noticed the 4’6” is being sold by somebody besides Amazon Japan .
I only order items from Amazon Japan .
I don’t order much from any third parties on Amazon .

Edit : I just checked and all models are now listed Amazon Japan . The 4’6” has a separate shipping charge .

Are you looking for 2 or 4 pieces? I have 4 pieces 5’6, I like the action but top piece came loose when I whip hard.

Here is the link to the rod I bought Amazon.com : Daiwa Trout X N at 56XUL, N Black : Sports & Outdoors

I got the 56XUL. I got it for my wife. She is moving from spincast tackle to spinning and while she is doing fantastic and her bite to catch ratio shows it. The draw back is she is not acclimating to the sensitivity of my rods as quickly and she sets the hook like Ahab on a white whale. We have had more than one small fish come out of the water and over the boat into the water behind us. I am hoping a rod with more flex throughout the length will soften her hook set and show the fish a little mercy
