I have that one . It’s a sweet rod. Light , but not whippy , top section with a lower section that bends nicely to the handle with a 6” gill .
They usually arrive from Amazon Japan before the later date .

I just ordered the trout x 60xul, I think, ifn I member right. I’m still looking for the finetail. I just can’t part with what they’re asking when I know if I catch it right it’ll be 30%+ less.

    Now comes the hard part——-waiting.

I'll throw my 2 pennies in on value for the money rod. Th abu garcia mass beat 3 634L can be found on Amazon for right around $65 to $70 fairly often. IMO for that price your getting alot more rod than your paying for. It is a 4 piece rod, being 4 pieces hasn't bothered me, but I have seen where someone had the pieces turning on them. I like rhe rod enough I'd be willing to use some epoxy and make it a 2 piece. It does come with a decent case to sore the 4 sections. I also think it is over rated being called a light action, even compared to other abu garcia rods I have I would consider it UL.

Right now it’s $59.89 on Amazon. That’s about as cheap as I’ve seen it .

I have to behave myself. Already spent way more than I planned on for rods this year. two new JDM Ultralights in the past month.

Also set my boat up to be able to do some trolling/pushing jigs. I'm up to 3 16' poles, 4 14' poles and a 10' pole, 4 new baitcasting reels, and 3 sets of rod holders.

Zeke, I’ve trolled about as many years as I’ve been on CDC. It just doesn’t do it for me like it used to but m not parting with my trolling rig. It took me a while to figure out what worked best for me and it just doesn’t make sense to part with it. It also makes people smile extra large when we boat 50+ fish in a morning and throw back most or all of what we catch. I’m also having to sit on my hands to keep from ordering yet another rod when I haven’t received the first one. I’m a little excited.
