    BTW , had a really big bass try to take one that was jumping around like a rabbit that visit ....
    missed the gill by inches ,but sure is cool to see one explode on your gill about 5 feet in front of you

    I get some pretty fish but mine are mostly darker than anywhere else I know of. Those fish are pretty and more varied in color than what I get. They’re just as much fun as I can come up with on a regular basis, and I’m good with that! Keep after em, truly a large KABOOM!

    Yours are beautiful no doubt, that copper band on em shines like the sun on that dark background, must be the water color there is my guess , and ours are likely hybrids back to native bluegills , crossed to coppernose is my guess from many moons ago …
