    Default Some ear spots

ARE WAY cooler than others , not sure what is up with the white rimmed version though , think it might be a hybridized sunny or do male red ears do that in the spring ?
see them often at one lake in the spring time , cool looking for sure ....
just do not get where the white rim part comes from ?

It very well could be that males have brighter colors than girls but not always. But the boys have longer flaps than girls, most of the time. Who knows?
