We met up around 11 this morning at boat ramp with muddy water and overcast skies .
And a steady ESE wind 8-17mph . Temp was 62 , was supposed to have been 67 according to the forecast with a high of 72 .
It never made to 70 .
With a slowly rising lake level , the fish had lockjaw .
I was fishing my 6’6” TFO trout and panfish rod paired with my Daiwa Presso LT1000 , spooled with dark green Daiwa J-braid and 4# Floroclear leader .
I twitched my tungsten jig and Trout Magnets all day , first with a regular TM body , but later switched to a mini TM .
My buddy fished a roostertail and jigged a TM around the riprap to catch 11 green sunfish to keep the skunk away .
I stuck with my twitching and managed to catch six small gills four bass , and a nice size green sunfish. Three out of the four bass were small , one was micro size .
Tough conditions and small catches , but a fun challenge .
We changed ramps three times , but never found any nice fish .
Best ones of the catch .
