Improved clinch knot. Also use Trilene knot where you put line through eye twice before seven wraps and finish. There are better knots out there but have been using it for over 50 years. Paint job held up nice with all those fish it still had 90% of the paint still on it. I'm pouring and using heavier heads more with these smaller hooks. The 1/24 with a #8 sickle has been a gem the last few months.

Love my #8’s, I use a lot of em and they hold big fish too if you don’t get carried away. You had a great trip, I could use one of those. Glad you got out.

Impressive little jig. I remember your ties on those little duckie jigs. Very nice ties then and the results of your trip make it a great tie.
