I wouldn’t mind trying some of those tungsten jigs when available.
Went out and spent about 2 hours talking with Jeff Smith today. First things first. The colors I showed are not yet ready for sale......except the Shonuff. But here is the deal...if you call an order in, and if you want the red and meal worm color, or the green mealworm they will throw some in with your order. They have not tested those colors out on fish yet and don't want to run a big number of them until they have an idea. The new colors they do have on the market....Cookies and Creme....and Gunmetal. Today they started selling the 1/32 ounce #8 hook D2 jig. No doubt the D2 jig is a trout catching lure but as I got to looking at them I saw bluegill candy lying there....LOL. I really like the back-purple. Also as some know they are making a 1/32 ounce tungsten jig head for a Trout Magnet. Virtually same physical size as a TM lead 1/64 ounce head but weighs twice as much. Not sure when these will go on sale as they are working out some kinks but it wont be too awful long. I got 4 packs to field test...and you can bet I will do it....LOL. Could a moderator please rotate pics? Ive rotated until I am blue in the face and they will not show upright in the preview. I run into this a couple of times a year.
Regards

What is the advantage of the beveled head?
Thanks for sharing Randy. Those tungsten heads and the new trout magnets sure do look good.
They are nice. The heads have an issue and Jeff will not put them on the market with a known defect. It should get worked out soon. It takes 6000 degrees to melt tungsten and no one in the states does tungsten. Many tungsten makers use the paste but these are the real deal. I’ve weighed them and they are 1/32 as labeled. The head profile is almost exactly same size as the 1/64 TM jig head.
