    I agree with Alpha and Ketchn, they are quite messy and smelly...

    When bluegill fishing ponds I usually use a 1/32oz jig head and a couple of crappie nibbles. They usually do not get gut hooked with a jig head. I have out fished worms beside me with the crappie nibbles.

    What size hook do you usually use with the gulp or power bait minnows?

    I've been using Berkley Power Wigglers for over 20 years with great success. I cut them into smaller pieces and tip them on my hand ties. No mess like with the Gulp products.
