I would expand my range and fish Lake Havasu in Arizona for the monster redear it is known for. Had a friend go and he said those fish look like they are on steroids. Do some research and see what it has to offer.

Tippah lake holds Mississippi record for red ear (3.33). It is a state lake . Lamar Bruce, lake monroe, trace are all decent . there will be a few 15 inchers out of each per year but numbers are way down from the 70's . Back then fishing from the bank was free , now its like $5.00 . these came from Trace .Santee Cooper with "whitey Outlaw "would first stop on the way to Havasu . I am a sucker for cypress swamps . lol this is my personal best from our own 5 acre lake . Name: 20191014_180814.jpg
