    Can't fix the problem unless you admit you have the problem --- so go fishing more (a lot more) to make sure you have the problem.

    It's tough waiting for spring and no ice. Ice fishing was something I did years ago, but it got old after catching only one or two fish - or worse - none! Now I'd rather be warm waiting for spring, smoking my pipe, sipping good coffee while making more lures I don't need.

    Of course, chatting with fellow fanatics like y'all makes time go faster.

    I'm happy to say I'm an addict. If it weren't for fishing life would be boring and don't know what else I would do. I fish 12 months a year even when it's cold. Got our first snow fall last night but it's 35 degrees so snow is melting. Going to try for a couple hours and see who's hungry.

Yes, when I get skunked, it bothers me until can pull one up from the depths. Doctors say there is no cure. I am destined to live out my life seeking these creatures in all their forms.
