Many bass and large fish anglers frown on the lures we cast to catch anything that will strike even though the simple reaon is that small lures catch everything anyway, from the little tyke shown to 7 lb catfish. We don't and can't target a fish species for that simple reason.

When I feel the strike, my instant adrenalin rush is no different regardless of what is potentially being hooked. Besides that, reaction varies once I see the fish - from a chuckle when such a small fish attacked a lure 3/4 its size, to amazement that a monster attacked-the-snack thatno fish in its right mind should waste time and energy attacking.
