This morning was sort of a test to see where my comfort level is going to be as colder weather approaches.
The weather today was Cloudy , 52 degrees, and windy when I arrived and 52 and windy when I left , after about two hours of fishing at the Town pond .
The wind according to my weather app was 14mph with gust over 25 . And most of the time it was gusty .
I gave up trying to twitch fish my jigs , so I added a float and finally caught a bluegill .
Best way I know of dealing with the wind .
I fished a 6’ Abu Garcia MB3 UL rod paired with a Shimano Frankenreel, A Soare BB 500spg body with a Nasci 500 spool and handle , spooled with 2# Floroclear.
Ended up with three bluegills to keep the skunk away .
The weather was tolerable, would have been nicer without so much wind and if the sun was out , but we have to deal what’s dealt us .
