    Default Only bluegill

Went after the river bluegill on purpose , kinda knew where they were and just wanted to try out some bream specific jigs I had made by a bud
7 foot ultra light and a float set about 3 foot deep , good times for sure , a bite EVERY cast ....
47 came to hand on my lunch break and to be sure the jig looked good as brand new when I left
    good times , ....
p.s. that is as big as river bream get , native bluegill max out around 6 inches down there , about never see a larger bluegill in the river , so letting them go to grow is silly , I let them go just because that's what I do ....
love watching my float go away is me ....just saying

    Fun lunch break!
I’ll have to tie up some orange bodied jigs and give them a try .
What was the water condition? Clear ? Stained ?

pretty clear for these parts , not bad , the red body yellow tail has been a bit more deadly locally though , but as you can see ,the orange works ok too ...
