    Default Another Saturday Another cold front


    Got out Saturday for a little bit and tried out the new Aji Do 1G rod. Temperatures dropped from highs in the 70s on Friday to 50s on Saturday here. I had the rod rigged up with a 1/30 z man micro ned head and a berkley sword tail on 2lb test izorline. Rod is stiff but loads great and casting distance was great for a 5 foot rod. No trouble feeling the light bits either. Not quite as sensitive as the Aji Do 5G but still really good.

    Some pretty fish. The Aji Do series of rods is quite interesting. To get a rod with specs of the 1G just about 3 or 4 years back the cost would be double today’s price.
