Nothing like the feel of a thump. Thanks for sharing
For some of the gills I played with all summer and found that for the most part they were gone. A guy in his 30’s and his son about 10 or so were sitting in one of the better spots with worms so they got a few I’m sure. I got a few short gills and two that were better than most I caught today, close to 9”, maybe just over. Caught three or four crappie and only one could’ve come to dinner. Caught about a dozen or so total. .Lots of heavy rain has the river high and running fast. If I’m gonna find any I’m gonna have to go searchin and I’m not getting my hopes up. Trolling the crappie is working well out in the lake. Nino and I got a bunch last Sunday but I’m not enjoying that as much as I once did. Maybe my little rods spoiled me. Hope y’all are getting a few, til next time……Skeet.m
