    Default 40 or so ....

found em deep , cooler weather here , used a red and yellow number 10 hand tied jig.
about 6 foot deep under a float , slow bites and not exactly on fire , but good for a quick 90 minute visit .
used a 6 foot xtreme light with 4 lb test .
hit 3 ponds and the first one was by far the spot , 35 or so came from that pond , 2 and 3 were not cooperating well.
3 bass and one crappie played and the rest were all bluegill .....
might have stayed a bit longer but didnt want to mess with the bowhunters on the place , 1 pm to 230 and down the road I went , all fish were set free .....

Nice mess in a short time. Ponds appear low, looks like you could use some rain. We're behind on that here as well.

at least 7 or 8 feet low , the docks are all on dry ground now at 3 of the ponds I hit , about 5 or 6 feet of shoreline from the dock to the water
its really bad in some spots , my favorite crappie dock out that way is in 2 foot of water and it was 12 or better when I started visiting it a couple years ago
