Default 40 degree temperature drop but the fish were biting

Went from shorts and tee shirt weather last weekend here in Ohio to jacket and fleece weather yesterday. Fish were still biting but the wind made things tough. 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. Could only fish a little portion of the lake to stay out of the wind but found a few. Lots of little guys but a couple between 8 and 9 inches with and unexpected 14 inch bonus crappie. The 5 foot aji do and daiwa presso with 2lb daiwa fluorocarbon and 5'6 crostage with daiwa tatula with 2lb izorline saw most of the action yesterday. A purple case plastics micro jack worm and a 2 inch shad color berkley powerbait minnow got the job done.

I was checking the game while I was fishing. Glad to see them pull away in the second half.

Gill I walked out this morning into a nice crisp 40, and we also had a pretty hefty north wind, but it's still my favorite time of year

    My favorite as well .
When I was younger , I’d be sitting in a tree with a recurve bow in my hand dreaming of all those fish I was missing out on .
