That I haven’t been to in a long time was today’s destination. Nino had never spent any time there so it was another almost close place he can visit while I’m working. Today was Crappie day for me and he just caught fish of almost every variety. Both of us hung a good bass over two lbs, and mine threw Victors jig back at me again. I’m gonna land one some day soon. Mine was caught on the Phenix and he was really giving me a workout with lots of drag music going on. I kept none as did Nino but I did release one heck of a good dinner in the first hour and a half we were there. Lots of fish near twelve inches and some a little over. The last fish before I headed home was my best of the day and over 13” and thick too. Maybe next week I’ll stock the fridge or have the kids over for a fish dinner. Nino was taking me to school with the better gills and redbreast and I believe his overall numbers were higher than mine. The teacher became the student once again. Hope y’all get out some, they’re still moving good here. Hope to see you then…..Skeet

PS had to take this pic for you Chaser, he thought he was somebody.

That "what-ever-man" look on the turtle face takes the cake for me, Skeet! Lol.

Went back to play again today but with a later start. Didn’t do as well a yesterday but what I did get were nice, all but two. 8 crappie and three gills and a redbreast or three. The gill in the pic was first fish and the crappie was second. After those I had high hopes but it just didn’t play out liked I’d hoped it would. Thanks for following along.,

Great pics, skeet. And as always thank you for the ride along. Lately, my way of fishing is through you all. I ,get to see the knee surgeon on Tuesday, finally. First visit, see what she says. Thank you again my friend.
