Default Caught an old friend today

Have you ever caught a fish more than once ?
I have . Actually I think today was either the fourth or fifth time I’ve caught this bluegill .
How do I know it’s the same one ?
Because of a mangled mouth , that I’m happy to report has healed nicely since the last time I caught him .
I’m glad to see that catch and release works .

Very cool! I’ve caught some with a jig or hook in em so I’m sure that they recover well. He’s probably saying “not again!!!”.

He is a chunky feller. Didn’t slow him down eating…

He actually is looking the best he has in the last couple of years .
First time I caught him , the lips were puffy and looked infected , plus the slim on him didn’t look right .
All of the fish I caught today looked healthy . Before I’ve caught several with sores .

I caught a 5# bass four times over a period of 11 days off the same post of a dock. Fat and healthy but blind in one eye. Hopefully just moved from the spot but probably someone took her home.
