Dropping a live bream into a bass bed was the quickest way to catch a biggun

I don't think there is a better bait for bass than a freshly hooked bluegill and nothing more exciting than watching 3 or 4 bass trying to eat the bluegill at the same time. Hooked three yesterday but they threw off the gills and hook on the jumps and didn't land any. Guy was fishing with his 2 year old son trying to catch his first fish with worms without any success. I gave him a couple of my little fry duck jigs. First cast and he gets a 10" bass. They were happy and so was I. Made my day.

I believe that’s the reason that we were given the talent to tie. It’s a personal thing, sure, but the benefits that come when we hand one to someone and see the smile and even better when they work as stated is priceless. Good story Jim but even more, Good Job Mister! The young man won’t soon forget.
