    Default McIntosh couple of hours

I spent a couple of hours at lake McIntosh this morning, fishing and trying out different things .
One was , I was using my 5’6” St. Croix Triumph ULF , paired with a Daiwa Fuego LT 1000d spooled with 2# P-line Cxxx moss green polymer line .
I’ve used this before I went to Floroclear . The line is super thin , but it’s not as strong as the Floroclear 2# . Also it tends to kink .
I’ll be going back to the Floroclear.
Next I tried using a small ball bearing swivel above my micro spinner in place of a tiny barrel swivel .
This worked pretty good , adding a few more feet of casting to the micro spinner. I don’t think the slight increase in swivel size is going to bother the fish .
The other thing I tried was a piece of the tail section of a plastic worm I found , where someone had tossed it on the dock when heading home .
I’d given thought to doing this but , hadn’t gotten around to it yet.
Putting it a 1/32 ball jig , made a micro Ned rig .
On about my fourth cast , I caught a nice UL bass to end up the morning.
Before the bass , I’d only caught a small gill on the micro spinner , and a couple of Warmouth and a small gill on Trout Magnets .
I also spent some time messing with my iPhone taking pics using a filter I ordered vs using my sunglasses as a filter .
    Pics below .
