    Thought the trout was gunna be just average stocked trout ...
    They been just destroying me this week in the high alpine lake, a STUPID big monster rainbow took this big sucker right at my feet on the bank this morning
    Ding Dong me....with my ultralight is getting pounded up here at 8000 feet above sea level .......
    Note teeth marks on the sucker btw ...
    KABOOM is for sure the word...

    Used to live in Colorado Springs. Go get ya some brookies!! Best eating trout in my opinion and at 8k feet you can find em. Love rainbows too. Thanks for the report, wishing you many kabooms. Super Duper lure in gold or silver - smallest size have been very productive for me. Have fun!!
