That must of been a huge Rainbow to take that fish ! I wish you could've landed it. I've always been told by Guides that the Brown's are the meat eaters, but not so in this case .

Bow must have been huge to take that sucker. Ultralight might not be the best choice when they are eating big suckers. Still a thrill even to have it on for a little bit. Didn't know you had a you tube channel, or was that a joke? If it's true how do I find the video?

“Ketchn’z Korner “ is my YouTube channel …
and the trout on the line in that video eventually got landed …. the monster that hit that sucker no sir ….The trout that hit the sucker was a huge male with big ole kiped jaws and about 2 foot long plus a bit maybe ….
I can identify fish really well and there is NO doubt a huge green trout shaped fish with a speckled back and a bright red stripe down its side with…
jaws like that is a for sure big male rainbow

I knew big rainbows would take down other fish , just didn’t know they would chase down a huge sucker and hammer it
It was totally amazing to watch right at my feet in gin clear water for sure …

A Mepps spinner with a tiny natural color minnow body was deadly stuff
But most of my fish were on a crappie jig under a float …way more deadly is me with a float ….
Had a few big bows EVEN chase my float , not kidding

Trout can get really aggressive at sunset and have had them eat my float off the top many times and have it under for quite awhile before it pops up. I used to set the hook when they do that but foul hooked a couple so I just wait for them to spit it. I guess my orange and yellow Thill floats look like power bait, need to find a way to put a hook in the float and still be able to cast it.
