Good pics and pretty catches. Thanks for sharing
Fished a couple hours at lake McIntosh this morning.
I took my usual jigs and small spinners , which I used on UL spinning tackle .
After an hour, I’d caught two tiny crappies and a small bluegill and had used three different combos from 5’ to 6’3” .
With the temperature rising quickly , I decided to stash the spinning tackle and broke out a Tenkara rod with a tiny spider fly . In the next hour I caught six green sunfish , a couple of warmouths , three small bluegills and a small redbreast .
They were all tiny fish , but they were fish .
I mainly fished the rip rap along about sixty yards of shoreline .
Wish I’d brought a flyrod that would have reached out a little farther and maybe I could have found something a little bigger .
Pretty colors . And kept the skunk away !

Sure beats a skunk

Pretty fish. I tried today but my spot appears to be void of fish. My boat can’t get done quick enough.

Chaser, those are some pretty ones. Lots of bright colors in the sun. Remember not to fuss too hard. 90 days from now it will be different and you may want these days back. Glad you got out today, I had to train a newbie.
Alpha, we’re looking to your new boat and the stories that come with it too.

Nice colorful bunch, Gill!
