    Default Personal best last evening

Considering it's the first fish of the species. Wife and I went fishing last evening. Target species was supposed to be white perch. Second time fishing for them. Caught a couple sunfish, small mouth and 2small white perch the biggest about 7 inches, so technically that is a personal best.

Also caught my first walleye, so another PB, my ketch measuring board is 16 inches and the tail was hanging off the board. Caught on a Carabus extreme using .03 varivas PE, with 4lb leader. Thought for sure I was going to lose the fish when it got around the spot locked trolling motor. Hurried up to the it off anchor mode and kind of let the fish figure out how to get away from the motor.

I'll get better measurements before cleaning it after work. It's on ice for now.

Note to self, don't be sticking your fingers in the mouth fish you've never caught before. Got a surprise when I went to lip it for a picture.
