Sink about a week, a good analogy. These light jigs I use have taught me a kind of patience I didn’t know I had. Very good fish.

Deep water gills are a blast. Reminds me of my Cali trips with Sonny catching some of them deeper than 50 foot but most were shallower. Silversides are everywhere out there too. Lot's of food makes for some big gills.
