    was out there all alone with some crappie fish and bit my jig ....
    poor lil loner fishee ....

    parasite of some kind probably , not sure , see that fairly often in the summer months ....
    just dont save the tails and fry them and no worries ....

    I’ve been seeing parasites on fish again in Granbury. Well, maybe it never stopped lol. Estimated 1 in 4 fish have worm in them or some kind of external issue (yuck!). If I find anything, I throw em back but have to look closely at them. If you know, you know… as a practice I’m freezing all my fish before I fry them to be extra safe. Wish Granbury was healthier!!

    In the summertime all spots have some degree of icky stuff on a few of the fish in most cases , ponds often have it more noticeable , likely due to the high water temperatures is my guess
