Well Gill I hope you’re on some fish and staying cool. I made it to the White River but it was 103 today with feel like of 114. Going to be same tomorrow. I guess the wife and I will just enjoy trying out some different restaurants and visiting with nephew and great nephews. We love coming up here but decided we only need to book fall and winter trips. No doubt my days of fishing in heat are done.

    Regards

96 here tomorrow, heat index 105 . If I go in the morning, I’ll try to fish from around 9:30-11:30 .
Although the town pond’s water is starting to look a little on the nasty side , it does have a morning shaded bank I can fish .
Closer to the AC at home too .
Low 90’ by Monday , upper 80’s on the fourth. Hopefully we’re not in for a dog days summer and the temps will normalize soon .

When it's hot I change tactics and wade fish rivers, get out early at daybreak and fish to 10-11 am. With the hot weather only thing biting were gar on the last trip but the water felt great.
