    10 fish hooked,2 landed. Not a bad day for salmon or steelhead, but terrible for bluegills! Lost 8 fish in the lily pads, but got a good fight before they got into the pads. Best bait for me was a size 8 gold bead head fly, red body, gold rib, partridge tail and collar. White crappies nibbles and of course, Slabsauce.

    One problem at a time, you passed on that, getting them on is number one, landing them, especially in something as stubborn as lily pads, well that's another thing

    I tried real hard to not land them best part was 2 fellas in a boat watching me do battle while they aren't getting any bites and hearing "He's got another one on"!

    Last year at the same spot 2 in a boat headed my way, front guy says, " That guy knows something"! Back guy says, "That guy don't know (squat) " I didn't know either one of them. I shared my Hotspot info with the boaters today though.
