Nice mixed catch !
What is that fish in the third picture ?
Amazing how one end of a lake can produce numbers and some nice quality on a bright sunny day with no wind after 11 am. The south end - fewer fish caught by far; the north end - most of the days catch.
I fish to test lure shapes and actions - all are soft plastics rigged on 1/16 oz or lighter ball head jigs (always unpainted).
Nice mixed catch !

Good job. Nice variety
Looks like testing went GREAT, funny you'd mention the unpainted heads, got a friend that ties and he insist on at least a spot of red on every head
Nice catches sir!

Not that color is important, but I have my superstitions and stick by them lol. Many anglers insist color is or may be important depending on the lure. Makes ya wonder though, but why would a color or a color combo appeal to all fish species on any given day? On the day mentioned, chartreuse and black soft plastics were cast and on days previous a few other colors did just as well.
This decent bass, many crappie and other species went after this all-black claw hybrid lure - also caught on the 23rd:
