Kept 6 crappie over 12", and a baker's dozen bull bluegill. Hand-ties and wigglers. Employed the Limber Tip and the ABU STS. Got rained on HARD for 20 minutes - new rain gear worked great, but I couldn't re-light my cigar.

Ya done good son!! Some good looking fish, I can smell the tacos. Conditions down here this morning made it hard for me to work. Lakes were like glass and good temps. Now tomorrow……..

Circumstances have precluded me from fishing like I normally would, but today was special. Due to weather, I had the entire reservoir to myself. It only rained for 20 min out of 6 hours. I found three big beds with plenty fish I left biting, so I can take my daughter tomorrow (hopefully, 29 year-old paralegal, and up and coming guitarist, she's a good kid, and I'm very proud). I had to be soundman/engineer/fader munky/guitar tech at a big benefit blues fest, plus do a set with my band. Then some guys I know wanted me as guitarist in their band, so I'm doing that for a while. Life got busy during April, in a good way. May as well have a good time while I still can, amiright? Fishing and playing guitar are both fine by me. As long as it's mostly fishing!

Absolutely! Enjoy everything and all you can while you can. Very cool playing guitar and being in band. When it gets to busy remember to unwind, relax and recharge on the water some.

Beautiful fish and best of luck playin’ the blues! Very cool. I think you favor Jake a little more than Elwood!
