Thread: Some gills

Wanted some ingredients for fish tacos so chased some gills at a county park lake wanting ten nice gills and the gills liked what I had on the menu, my little duck jigs were automatic, again. Gills were 7.5-9" in length, not on beds yet. About 9 am the bass showed up and had a couple big ones that I thought were 5-6 lbs kept trying to eat my gills when I brought them in and I would horse the gills in thinking they were to big for the bass. Never saw the 10#er until it ate that gill. Here is pics of some that didn't get eaten. At least not yet.
