Thread: Abu Garcia real finesse eradicator slow taper special

Been very hard to source. I ended up getting the Salty Stage 6’3” ultralight slow taper special. Blank is 100% carbon and pretty sensitive. It’s an Ajing rod but with an almost parabolic bend. Guides aren’t torzite.

The guy in the video is the person who designed the Eradicator ST Special, and now this model. Had I entered the Ultralight angling game 2-3 years back I would own an Eradicator ST Special. At that time they were available.

Bound to be like a $1,000 rod by now �� I’ve toyed with the idea of selling mine. It is for sure in like new condition as I have only used it around 5 times. I for some reason always grab a different stick.

I regret not buying two of them. As most know I own two of the Diplomat Extreme...really one Diplomat and one Carabus. The TAF blanks that Abu makes are simply great. All rods I own are beyond sensitive....but the STS just takes it to another level with the feel and crispness.
