Default Put the scent sticks to work

Finally was able to make it out this past Saturday for a couple hours to give the scent sticks from slabanatorjigs.com a try and they worked great ! I used them to tip a hair jig with and these fish around here really liked em we caught around 100 in the short trip and had to leave with them bitting every cast only kelp 25 for a friend no giants but some decent size ones !

Nice mess of sunfish, the yellow perch caught my eye. Never have caught one here in Missouri. Used to catch them in Minnesota on summer trips in my youth.

They don’t get as big down here as they do up north or at least I Haven’t saw any over 12-13”
we used to catch quite a few of them here but the last few years haven’t saw many but they appear to be on the rise again!

That’s a good mess of fish Mitch! 11 to 13” is enough to make me happy. Dinner will be extra good. Thanks for sharing with us.
