    Default The kiddo show

good times , the little fella was raised in part by my wife , she was his nanny before he got all big for about 5 years . his family is just like our family and we do lots of family things together , all of his family gatherings include us .
the crawfish boil for next weekend is the next gathering but get this action .....
for his birthday we told him a trip to six flags and it was on us for the day ......
he said he would rather go FISHING with us out in west Texas !
So just when you think kiddos might be more interested in video games and amusement parks and tv shows ....
KABOOM you managed to influence one to get up and go outside and enjoy the great outdoors !
so off we went for some farm pond action and driving the ranger up and down the mountains and ketchn a few fish and eating hotdogs and magnet fishing too ....
the only downer was ,some of the locals beat us to the swimming hole and muddied to the darn near dried up stock tank
the scenery was fabulous the fishing was good , mostly red ears bit well for some reason , we managed other species too, but the red ear dominated what came to hand on the different lakes and pond we hit , the trip was perfect and in the end who knows maybe we managed to save one of the next generation from the great indoors .....it could happen ....just saying

had two different friends tell me there grandkids want to come to LSL primarily to go out fishing with old KrappieKeith as they call me. Not to see them but go fishing with me! I always take them out to places I know they will get a lot of action on my toon. One of my great joys. Plus doing it with my own as well of course.

The beauty and splendor of them on the rocky hillside is just about impossible to fully capture, but I gave it a whirl nonetheless
