    Default Warmer water

The water here in East Texas warmed up about 5 or 6 degrees the last couple of days and the bream came back up in the grass. The full moon probably didn’t hurt either.

    Nice catches. Love the SeaDek.

In the field between my grandparents and parents homes is our hayfield. For years and years my grandfather let people fly model planes out there. It was really awesome to see them all. Even seen a couple of helicopters there. Never forget there was this one tree in the ditch that ran sort of diagonally across the field and they would circle it and line up for the runway. One guy ran straight into that tree and completely destroyed his plane. So many good memories from those times.

my p51 replica lost its mind one time and it went from way up there to a straight down dive at full velocity !
the ensuing crash was totally legendary , it is my thought that it could not have been a better way to go out .
she literally exploded on impact in a small but excellent ball of fire as plane parts went in every direction!
really made for a mix of emotions as you can imagine , wanted to cheer for the finish , but was sad she went south forever too .....
p.s. and the cost of that little accident was quite enough to make me retire from minion aviation ....
watching your hard earned dollars evaporate in a blink of the eye is a humbling experience ....
