    It’s that time of year . It’s a challenge.
I fished two different spots yesterday for a total of almost three hours without a nibble .
But it was good to get out .
If the rain holds off this morning for a couple of hours , I’ll head up to the town pond and try again .

knowing full well the likely outcome , sometimes these days I leave it up to the diehards , just saying ....
winter can be tough , feast or famine in lots of cases , with all the cold rain we got yesterday a skunk in these parts is quite possible for sure ...
will wait it out is me ...

My favorite time of year to fish.
Prefer not to fish in the rain, will fishing in the snow.
Glad you got on the water.

I got to fish about an hour before the rain ran me home .
Same result . Big Skunk !
Fished float n jig and drop shot . Not even a nibble.
A quick pic of the pond before the rain started .
