That would be smooth. I hope you get in one day.
Had to move out of the cabin I had on the Little Red River…. miss the fishing. My new digs happen to be in front of a section of land with a 60 acre lake on it. Can’t tell much from an iPhone pic but the owner is building a 20,000 square foot home on the lake. Of course it is posted and I can’t go through those gates but I wish I could. Met an elderly man coming out of that gate today. He was in his late 80’s and wanted to just look at the property one more time. He was the care taker for this place for 40 years. When I asked him what type of fish were in the lake his reply was huge bluegill and massive crappie. Oh how I wish I could go through that gate!

You need to talk to the caretaker about getting you a pass to fish it.
Big blue hill and crappie, oh my.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
Maybe someday….

Living across the road from something like that would drive me nuts .

Well I have to move again by 30 November. No fun living out of a suitcase. But my house should be done by 7 December. Then I will be concentrating on what type of boat I want. Already got the good info on where to go for shell cracker.

Certainly a nice lake. Hopefully they will get your house all fixed up and ready
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
You never know who you might run across, Randy. You may get a chance to meet the owner at some point, and the caretaker can give you a name. The good news is you have a ton of other spots.
