    Default Just sometimes!

Quote: “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
    Ferris Bueller

Whenever I’m rewatching the old classic- Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, I’m often reminded by these very words. As fishermen we sometimes doing just that: Chasing ( looking) what’s beneath the surface, so to speak, when we’re out on our favorite piece of water. Concentrating on the little thump, tict, or bite we so yearning for we forget to look around and see the peace around us. In this particular November morning I happened to have an hour out of my yet still busy life to wet a line in one of my favorite man- made lake and while I couldn’t buy a bite, I’d would gladly pay for it, for only when I’m miles away from the city I’m able to experience this quietness and calmness I so often miss. Happy angling!!

Very nice pic, frame worthy. That could be one that would cause me to daydream for a while, returning to where it was taken. Where I fish on the river close by is kinda busy on the weekends. The silence fishing those same waters mid week is loud. If I get to mo e from here I never want to be near a big city again.

Yep Skeetbum, I truly miss a rural country setting. While I'm considered in the county, It's only by 25 ft. and when I step outside, I hear all the city traffic on a major blvd. 3 blocks away. I can't wait to get out of here.

Some snobby trout fisherman, you know the ones that only fish for trout! They think that they fish the prettiest water! It would be hard to find prettier
fishin' water than your home water! Now if you catch every time you fish, that would really be special! Many Tight Lines!
    Kind Regards,
