Nothing like some creek or stream fishing, though. Sounds like a relaxing time!

Mine also. If they get the slightest clue that they are going somewhere. They are waiting by the truck

she knows the wife's car is her ride 99% of the time and when it rolls out of the garage she sits by it looking like "is it my turn to ride" ?
when she don't get invited into the backseat her heart broken facial expression will make you feel bad for sure ....

lost one bass and managed 12 or so , none were really big

You had fun and caught fish. To me that is what it is all about. Thank you for sharing.

has to stay on the leash at that park "mostly" so she was off in the background on her pink leash, wishing to jump in the water for sure

she is a street dog we got 2 years ago from a pack when she was a puppy , right up there with a mix of everything breed wise and smart as the dickens and past loyal to our family a few miles , really well behaved and trained and does what is asked when asked.
you can eat right beside her and she won't even act like she wants a bite , she might even sleep thru your entire meal in that position .
spent some time with her in a few areas of what is good dog behavior and now that she is 2 it is a pleasure to have her along for family outings, have to love a dog that does what you want when you want it ...
