    Default 1st time

Grandson/I hit pond near Addison NY today with the jon boat/electric motor. I have bank fished it 3-4 times this summer. We were both pleasantly surprised. All though I have been catching gils there very few keepers until today. 15-20 8-10 inch gils, lots of small ones AND a few jumbo perch and rock bass.Grandson had a geat time with the ultslight. He felt every fish was a big one. Going to hit it one more time before heading back to Fl for the winter.

A great trip grandpa, one I know you’ll remember for a long while. I have a 7year old granddaughter that gets so excited she tries to keep reeling after the hook is at the tip. Makes me laugh every time. Her and her mom both still hoot when they’re fighting a fish, no matter the size. Thanks for the ride along.
