Default water sure is low in these parts

makes it a tough go for sure , saddens me to see it this low , lots of small ponds have dried up and some of the spots I like are 5 foot low or more , sure is a tough program .
found them cooperative in a few spots and managed to ketch some good ones , no really small sunfish in the mix , just decent to large fish , bite was tough to get though and if it don't start raining enough to bring the water back up soon a few places I like might go south ....
most of the fish bit with determination and there wasnt much of a think its a bite , used a float mostly and also managed a few just pitching my jig and dragging it without a float . worthy of mention was seeing a real large bluegill strike at my jig close to a weedline and miss it , sure looked like a big ole doggy ....
until I chase the sunfish again , here are a few images
KABOOM is the word btw ...

Looks like rain is in the forecast all this week in Texas. We could really use it because these lakes are hurting.

Nice looking fish, Ketchn. We’re in drought conditions here in PA as well. Went out this am and if I hadn’t been using a float I would have lost a ton of jigs in the rocky bottom.

Bob, I hear you I’m dealing with heavy vegetation that grows out control every year during this hot months and my only go to rig Float-N-fly or long drop shot with very small split shot that won’t get tangled under. An inconvenience I don’t mind facing as long as the fishes still biting. Cheers!

Saw it on the news last night. Texas and Utah are getting pounded.
