Looks like we gotten 7 inches so far and it is still coming down. It's a welcomed site in my eyes. I feel sorry for those who have been affected by the flash floods.

It sure did come down in buckets today. Hopefully water levels will respond.

Hope everyone wasn’t flash flooded. Saw the national forecast that called for some more too. Glad the relief found y’all.

Looks like the rain came in buckets.
Hopefully safe from all the flooding.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Grainraiser is sure right about needing the rain in Texas.Im in north centralish Texas and the lake I love to fish around this on particular dock that was about 6 and a half feet deep and held good keeper crappie and big old bluegill is now in about 2 feet of water. Still holding a few good eater size fish but low hot water usually mean parasites so I believe I'm catch and release till more rain and colder weather

the one i visited sunday was out west and it is around 12 to 14 deep normally , it always has a good number of crappie under it and under the dock was about 4 or 5 foot deep and not a fish there , not even a bream
lake is said to be around 8 foot low .....

Same here in OKC. Terrible picture (and even worse catch), but you can see now you can walk ten feet into what used to be water in my neighborhood ponds. Name: IMG_1770.jpg

Wow! That seems like the situation all over the country. Over here in CT and NY, there's so much dirt exposed. Out of curiosity, has anyone else seen cyanobacteria blooms? Wondering if there's a correlation there, as they've been here more often than in the past.

    P.S.
