One of my go to rigs is dropshotting with flies or very small jigs on spin gear because bare hooks usually get swallowed and I don’t like killing fish I don’t intend to eat. But man suffice to say it was very fitting since all fish caught were no more than 3 inches long..lol!

I sometimes fish my flies and micro jigs on a drop shop with spinning gear . It’s a great method of getting your fly to the fish. Especially in the winter.
