Very nice !
I arrived at the creek just before ten this morning and found the water and current up .
Deeper water usually means bigger fish , but it depends on when they started releasing upstream.
I don’t know how long it takes for the fish to acclimate to the flow increase and for downstream fish to move up , but it hadn’t happened yet . .
I enjoyed fishing the higher water and hooked several fish , but for some reason all of them (5-6) except for one came unhooked before I could get them in .
A couple of them got off right at my feet including a nice redbreast .
The only one I was able to land was my best of the year , so far , warmouth.
Caught on a spider fly on my green 6’6” 2 Wt fiberglass combo .
I hope the flow stays up for a few weeks and I can get back .

Great catch on the Warmouth, another cool panfish! I have only caught 1 of those, it was over in West Virginia, they are pretty rare around hear.

Good sized Warmouth! I’d be happy with him and they are a tough fight. Used to have a place on the north side of Lake Woodruff that they were thick. Good fun in my earlier ultralight days.
