Grubin for Gills

Hit the lake for a few hours today and managed to connect on a few good gills using a split tail grub. Saw baitfish being chased and ran a spoon w/ice jig trailer thru thinking it was some good size gills chasing but picked up the first LMB. The second little LMB is as dark as any I've ever caught.

5'6"- Have had since they first came on market and is one tuff little rod, would not hesitate to purchase another. Have read your previous comments on field testing a few models of this rod. Thanks.

Those are some nice fish. You would think with the coffee colored water I have here that most of the fish would be darl like the one you show. I doesn’t work out that way but I get one now and then that gets the darker hue. Sure nuff pretty. That would be enough fish to make me smile too.
